Designed based on the beautiful Tribal Nations cards by Indigenous educators Trisha Moquino (Cochiti, Kewa, Ohkay Ohwingeh) and Marcus Trujillo (Laguna Pueblo), this map matches the colors of the regions in the cards. The cards highlight 37 Tribal Nations spread across 10 regions of the settler colonial United States (4 tribes from each region except Hawaii, which has 1).
Made from maple hardwood, this material features intricate details of tribal nations and their territories in the pre-colonial era. Each region is color-coded for easy identification, making it a perfect educational tool for students, educators, and history enthusiasts alike.
