Thank you for taking the time to read over the policies for my shop, Mirus Toys. Here you will find my policies regarding payment, shipping, refunds and exchanges, as well as additional information such as my business hours. 

We are pleased to offer you a wide selection of high quality Waldorf and Montessori inspired toys for children of all ages. We are located in Vancouver, Washington and do offer local pick up options. If you have a question that is unanswered by our current policies, please feel free to message us directly.

 

Frequently Asked Questions 

When will I receive my order?

Every single product is handcrafted with love by us. We start as soon as you order. Depending on the current workload it will take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to receive your order. Please contact me if you need it sooner, I will be happy to accommodate whenever I can.

Custom and personalized orders

I will gladly make customization and change the products to fit your needs.

Wholesale availability

Please contact me via mirustoys@gmail.com, with products you are interested in and the quantity, I will send my wholesale line sheet.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
Send items back within: 7 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Mirus Toys reserves the right to evaluate all refund/exchange requests on a case by case basis. Due to the custom nature of many of my products, refunds/exchanges are not offered for those products unless an error was made by Mirus Toys in production. 

Examples of circumstances that do not qualify for refunds/exchanges include (but are not limited to): 
Incorrect shipping address (placed by the customer) 
Wrong product ordered by the customer
Shipping delays 
Buyer’s Remorse 

Should a customer wish to submit a refund/exchange request they must do so within three (3) days of receipt of item via a detailed conversation in Etsy message. Photographs may be requested in cases of damage claims by Mirus Toys. If a refund or exchange is approved, the customer is responsible for shipping the item back to Mirus Toys at their expense. Shipping charges are nonrefundable. 

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure their order is correct at the time of placement, and by purchasing a product from Mirus Toys, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions set forth within these policies.
Payment
Mirus Toys accepts PayPal, Etsy Gift Cards, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards for payment. 

Payment is due at the time of order, and Mirus Toys reserves the right to cancel a transaction is payment does not clear within five (5) days of order placement. 

You do not need a PayPal account to use this option, and can sign in as a Guest. To use this option, please follow the prompts and refer to PayPal.com for any additional questions.

Shipping
Currently Mirus Toys ships during traditional business hours using USPS, FedEx and UPS.

We are dedicated to providing our customers with the most affordable experience which is why we are constantly comparing the three major shipping carriers to find the most competitive prices. All orders are shipped with a tracking number and insurance, but we do not ship internationally at this time. 

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure correct shipping address at the time of order placement, and Mirus Toys is released from any liability should the customer order with an incorrect address as per the Etsy Terms of Service for both buyers and sellers. 

Mirus Toys is released from liability for delays in shipping once a package has left our care. We are unable to control shipping factors such as weather, staffing errors, or delays and by purchasing a product from Mirus Toys, the customer recognizes that all shipping profiles are estimates and not guarantees of time. Should an error occur in shipping; it is the responsibility of the customer to contact their local corresponding shipping company and file a formal complaint and case. Mirus Toys is available for questions should this unlikely event occur and will assist you in this process.
Additional policies and FAQs
Mirus Toys adheres to the following production hours: 
Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 4:00pm 

During peak seasons we may extend these hours to include night and weekend work but will keep all customer correspondences and responses to normal business hours. 

Please note we are located in Vancouver, Washington. We observe all national American holidays, and as such will not produce product or conduct any business during those times. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of holiday observances as they may impact production and shipping times.
