Children will naturally be drawn to the beautiful colors painted on the base and to the tiny nature of the wool felt balls. They will also take great pleasure in perfecting their pincer grip.
Variations for this work include isolating/separating the colored wool felt balls into individual containers. Extensions include making it a scooping or tonging activity.
This material measures 16"x10" (yes it is big!).
It is made of buttery white maple hardwood with bright colors.
The balls are made of 100% wool felt. They are roughly 0.75" so they may present a choking hazard for very young children.
