It not only teaches the value of numbers intuitively, this beautiful board let's your little one learn to count AND learn to write the numbers.
The balls that come with it matches the Montessori beads colors so it can be a reinforcement of you follow Montessori method, if not, they are very useful as a form of control - pink balls to in 3 counter and there are only 3 pink balls. All the 10s are represented in the same (natural) color.
This beautiful board is made of hardwood maple and comes with a wooden "pencil" to trace and practice writing the numbers.
