Description
Our Gallon Fraction Kit is a beautiful hands-on manipulative that illustrates the relationship between gallons, half gallons, quarts, pints and cups - without the spills!
Students learn volume equivalence by placing the different tiles in the honey jar base, which holds a gallon. Make up the honey by mixing and matching the various gallon fractions.
Students will love making their very own gallon man as an extension as they explore how each of the volume fraction pieces are related!
The honey jar is made of buttery white maple and the "honey" aka gallon fraction inserts are made of cherry.
The entire kit measures 7.5"×7.5". The smallest piece is the cup, which is a 1" square.
This product is not suitable for children under 3 or children who are still mouthing.
