This hands on math manipulative will make learning fractions easy and fun! The fraction strips provide a visual representation of even complex fraction manipulations.
Children will love exploring and discovering how to recognize equivalent fractions and how begin completing basic mathematical operations with fractions including adding and subtracting. You'll hear your child exclaim things like, "Oh, two-fourths is the same as one-half" and "Ten tenths are needed to make one whole!"
The fraction strips will not only allow the child to develop a solid understanding of fractions, but will also allow them to indirectly refine their fine motor skills and develop concentration, coordination, a sense of order, and spatial awareness.
The fraction strips are made of hardwood cherry and measure 7.75"x10.75". The base is made of buttery white maple and measures 8"x11.5".
